Got trophy on a cold, blustery, and cloudy day. Was gifted a rerun thanks to a Mazda 3 doing a pirouette and therefore had hot tires. RE- 71R’s grip hard in their small temperature window.

That celebration at the end is going to cost me next time I think.

That outside left window perspective is great for the exh au st note, but it sure makes it look like those right sides cones are marked for death! nice run

The mic I use is mounted directly above the exhaust tips. I mostly just mount the camera on the quarter glass just out of laziness and so I can see what I’m doing with my hands and eyes.

I like that trophy!

After a rough 4th place in my 1st event (I ran my STI on Nokians because is was 40* and a monsoon), I bounced back this weekend and took 1st in ST on my final run by .026 seconds in my far better prepped RX-8.

Same to you. I looked at both our numbers and we both finished right around 92% of the top PAX-time at each of our events and both finished right around 75-percentile of the competitors. We had a very small turnout due to rain in the am with the threat of snow and temps in the 30's and 40's. Fortunately the surface dried and the sun came out for the afternoon runs and I got my RE-71's up to a lukewarm temp at least.
